Peter and I have been both visitors and worked on the islands of Venice and Murano. The population of Venice is approx 60,000 and on an average day another 60, 000 come to the island culminating in a massive 22 million visitors a year. In this gallery you won’t find any of the well known sites, they have been well documented by the aforementioned visitors. The islands of the Venetian lagoon are living communities in their own right, these pictures are all about daily life.
